TEARDROP TRAILERS FOR SALE**

A restorable 1947 teardrop is for sale in Palmdale, Calif., for $1,200. It is all-metal construction, with wood paneling inside the sleeping area. The galley features a large well on the lower left for an ice chest/box or installation of a handy sink. A large rear shelf and working area in the galley can easily accommodate new wooden cabinets, if desired. The trailer features a single door on the right side, a ventilation window on the left side, and a battery box on the trailer’s right rear corner, beneath the galley. Inside the sleeping area is a large two-shelf cabinet with doors across the rear, and a small single shelf high across the front. The trailer body has been mounted on a non-standard teardrop frame that can easily be modified for better appearance, if desired by the restorer. The unit, 12 ½ feet long (including hitch) by 4 feet wide, has 16-inch wheels (600 X 16 tires). California registration is current. Contact Barbara Harper, (661) 947-5922
